It’s been a while but Milan was great again! Saw a lot, talked a lot, ate a lot. Inspiration everywhere!

Reactions to our rocking chairs were very enthousiastic. They were shown on 2 locations in the city. Many thanks to KidsRoomZoom for the excellent locations, the perfect care and all the publicity!

Yes we will be there this time! We’ve been invited to take part in the KidsroomZOOm event during the Milan Salone del Mobile, in the offsite programme. We will present our new generation rocking chair, which will be upgraded to include storage space by a simple addition. This complies with our STEK philosophy of combining functions. Come and visit us at Via Mellerio 2, a beautiful 1970’s appartment which is the setting for a perfect kids’world. Between all other designs our STEK rocking chair will invite kids to play. But grown-ups can also take a turn…

Last year neuroblastoma was diagnosed at five year old Loïs Bergakker, a classmate of one of our daughters. This is a rare form of cancer in children. Lois is now under treatment in America, under the circumstances she is now doing well.

We have decided to contribute to Villa Joep, a fund which supports research for this type of cancer. 100% of the contributions to Villa Joep will be spent at research.
